The film “Courier” has several alternative endings. The one shown in the film is when Ivan gives Bazin his own coat and looks in the eyes of a soldier, who returned from Afghanistan.

The ending of the book is when Ivan and the writer Vorobyov are looking at a woman in the window in front of them at midnight. Half a house is looking at her too, and can hear every word that everyone says.

One of the scripts leaves us with the final scene when Ivan is singing a song and marching into an aircraft with other paratroopers.

An alternative script gives us the ending described in the break-dance section.

And another alternative ending is when Ivan comes to a swimming pool at night and starts swimming powerfully and beautifully.
