Autumn is from Mankato, MN. She has an Art History major and an Asian Studies Concentration. Autumn’s image is Egon Schiele’s “Portrait of Paris von Gütersloh” from 1918 in the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
“This was the first image I did a formal analysis of in college. Like the man in the painting, I had a moment of revelation, knowing that art history was a subject I was passionate about and interested in pursuing. Every time I visit it in the Mia, where it is on display, I am still struck by how incredible this painting is.”
