Anyone can write for us. No experience necessary.

The Messenger is always looking for writers and photographers. You’re welcome to join any time during the year, no experience necessary. If you’re interested, there’s more detailed information below about the many ways that you can get involved.

The editorial and reporting staff meets on Sunday nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Mess office (Buntrock 110, down the hall from the post office and across from the OSA) for our weekly pitch meeting. The photography staff meets in the Mess office on Monday nights at 6 p.m. The best way to get started is to stop by!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to drop by the office at any time or email mess-exec@stolaf.edu
