Throughout the development of this online exhibit, a number of other St. Olaf students have contributed to the content creation and site design work. These collaborators helped in particular with the multimedia elements that make a website like this possible and valuable.
Angelina Gasparov '23
In summer 2022, Angelina worked with Prof. Randall to produce the first digitizations of Howard Hong’s official LWF-SR report and accompanying photo album, two primary sources that are foundational in the historiography of the Lutheran World Federation Service to Refugees, 1947-1949.
Sabrina Heiny '27
I’m a double major in history and German. During the fall of 2024 I worked on the website’s film archive writing new synopses of the documentaries on the LWF relief funding and efforts. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to work on this project and learn more about European history!
Erin Featherstone '27
In fall 2025, Erin proofread and corrected the transcriptions of a set of WCAL radio program recordings with stories about the work of the LWF-SR. She also coded the recordings for content, speakers, and key quotes, which will be used for developing an additional area in the site’s multimedia section.
