The official arrival date for international students is Tuesday, August 29th, 2023. The International Student Counselors (ISCs) will meet students at the Minneapolis International Airport or “MSP”, Lindbergh Terminal 1. The  ISCs will be carrying a welcome sign and wearing a St. Olaf T-shirt so that students can easily recognize them.  

We encourage students to arrive and move in on August 29th during the daytime so they can rest from the trip and unpack. If a student’s flight will arrive in Minnesota after 4pm on August 29th, we ask that they arrive on the evening of Monday, August 28th, 2023 instead, so that they can fully participate in Arrival Day on Tuesday.

St. Olaf College has NO housing for students arriving earlier than Tuesday. Students will need to make their own hotel or motel arrangements should they arrive earlier.
