• Obtain a valid passport.
  • Obtain an F-1/J-1 student visa from a U.S. embassy or consulate.
  • Activate your St. Olaf Email.
  • Complete the Arrival Form (Coming soon through your weekly New Student emails!)
  • Make travel plans to the U.S. for Arrival Day Tuesday, August 27th.
  • Complete the Housing and Advising Questionnaire on the St. Olaf web-page.
  • Through the St Olaf Student Health Portal, submit the following required forms: Immunization data, Tuberculosis (TB) screening questionnaire, and Report of Medical History.
  • Have final high school transcripts, AP/IB scores and/or PSEO/CIS transcripts sent to St. Olaf. It doesn’t hurt to bring original or certified copies of your transcripts or certificates with you.
  • Complete Online Placement Surveys and participate in Registration on June 21st, 2024.
  • Complete your New Student Orientation Module
  • Submit your picture for your Ole Student ID (you need this ID to enter your Res Hall, eat in the Cafeteria, etc.)
  • In July you will receive a bill for the fall semester and in January for the spring semester. The fall semester payment is due August 1. If payments are late, a finance charge of 0.5% per month will be added to the unpaid balance. You can pay online using ACH, credit card, or via bank wire. Payment Plans are available if you wish to make monthly payments throughout the semester or academic year.
