The official arrival date for all incoming international students is Tuesday, August 27th, 2024. Upon your arrival at St. Olaf College, we will get you checked into your assigned residential hall room and give you a room key, student ID card, and bedding. You will also receive a welcome packet with a schedule for International Student Orientation, a map of campus, and other useful information.
St. Olaf will provide transportation from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) International Airport Terminal 1 (Lindbergh) to campus for incoming students. If your flight arrives at Terminal 2 (Humphrey), please collect your luggage and take the Blue Line (Northbound) light rail train to Terminal 1. The light rail train is FREE when traveling from airport Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. The light rail train runs every 10 minutes and will take about 4 minutes to get to Terminal 1.
The Northfield Lines bus will pick students up in the BUS Transit Center. Once at MSP Terminal 1, please follow the signs to baggage claim. There is a coffee shop by baggage claim, there you will see an International Student Counselor, who will be holding a sign and wearing a Taylor Center T-Shirt. If you need help finding the bus, the Terminal 1 Information Booth on Level T is staffed, seven days a week, from 6 a.m. to midnight. The staff can provide information and directions to the transit center!
If you are NOT using St. Olaf transportation from MSP airport, please come to Buntrock Commons for International Student Orientation check-in. Check-in takes place at Buntrock Commons from 10am to 5pm. Free parking is located behind the building. Here is our interactive College map!
