I’d say the main thing I want to see at the site is the Great Bath, or more specifically the natatio. Besides the impressive scale of the structure, just admiring the level of workmanship that went into it would be something to look forward to. Huge fancy baths like that aren’t something you can really see outside of archaeological sites or museums, so it seems more culturally immersive to engage with that aspect of the site.
When I get to Turkey, I’d like to eat some food. I’m a pretty hungry guy, so the title is only partially tongue-in-cheek. I’ve spent a few days going around Europe with some friends also on this internship these past few days, and I have to say, all these carbs aren’t so much my speed. Turkey seems more accommodating for my classic meat and dairy combo. I hear they have some kind of fermented yogurt drink…
