Sketching, illustration, and studying art techniques have always been a personal interest. As a hobby, I will frequently sketch or illustrate a variety of objects or subjects.

As a way to expand my understanding of how maps are constructed and the perception of viewers – I will create illustrated maps. These maps are frequently unique locations and not necessarily a representation of a real place or location.

The prompts encourage artists to create maps based on the subject prompts. Everyone is encouraged to brainstorm any idea for the maps – and there are no limitations on how artists choose to interpret the prompts.

Inktober  2020 Sketches

Inktober is a social media tradition, hosted by Inktober. This is not a drawing contest – but the point is to build positive and consistent habits. It can also be a meditative activity.

General rules – draw anything that reminds of the prompt word, one drawing per day
