Our New Home…
Our home is located at 300 Railway Street in downtown Dundas. We are open, limited hours, but with a well-equipped woodworking shop, some metal tools, and workbenches and areas for assembly and hand-tool use.
Our ability to host classes is coming back online, and we’ve been open for the public on Saturday Mornings, 9-12, for a Family Make and Take activity. We are open for Members by appointment, or Wednesdays 1-4pm walk-in. These times are managed by volunteer staff who can assist with projects.
We’re planning our hours of operation
Cannon Valley Makers will provide a safe, vibrant space for members to enjoy working in and visitors to enjoy stopping by. All open hours will be determined by availability of our trained volunteer staff.
The main entrance of the space will include a retail location where members can sell their wares.
Reserve a bench or table, or drop in
Sharing space and tools is one of the key benefits of joining a makerspace.
At CVM, members can reserve tools and know when the tools they need will be available to use.
Get to know us
Cannon Valley Makers can only exist with the help and contributions of members, volunteers, and community supporters. More information about getting involved with CVM will be available soon!
More than 300 makers have already signed up to learn more and show their interest in starting a community-based makerspace. We’re excited to help create a resource that will serve this community for years to come.
Gain a skill or Pass it on
Learn a new skill, or pass it on to someone else. Members will be eligible to teach classes and share their skills. Cannon Valley Makers is dedicated to providing programming for all ages and backgrounds throughout the community.
