Mental Health Resources for Asian Americans:

Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders through education, practice, and research.

Why Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders Don’t go to Therapy in this blog featured on National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Ryann Tanap calls for the need to encourage the Asian American community to reach out for help.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSA) offers resources such as national survey reports, federal initiatives, and health resources for the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander population.

 

Anti-bias, Antiracist Resources:

Asian American Pacific Islanders for Civic Empowerment (along with 15 grassroots organizations) created an “Asian American Racial Justice Toolkit” because they believe that Asian American liberation is tied to Black liberation.

Teaching Tolerance provides a range of materials—articles, modules, self-assessments, publications and more—that allow educators to improve their practice at their own pace.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice AAJC provides a compilation of resources, reading lists, and more on anti-racism and anti-blackness for the Asian American community

Asian Minnesotan Alliance for Justice (founded by Coalition of Asian-American Leaders (CAAL)) collected resources for non-Black Asians to address anti-Black racism and how the Asian Minnesotan community can be in solidarity.

The Conscious Kid is an education, research, and policy organization dedicated to equity and promoting healthy racial identity development in youth such as racial trauma and ways to be an ally.
