Acknowledgements

The research team members wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have supported and contributed to this project. The team would like to acknowledge, first and foremost, St. Olaf Collaborative Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (CURI) program, Prof. Katherine Tegtmeyer Pak (Director) and Tory Borovsky (Administrative Assistant), for making this summer research possible during the global health crisis. Thanks must also go to Janis Johnson (Director) and Melissa Melgar (Assistant Director) of the TRiO McNair Scholars Program, as well as Prof. Jean Porterfield, for guiding the McNair scholars on the team. We are extremely grateful for the Institute for Freedom and Community, especially Prof. Edmund Santurri (Morrison Family Director of the Institute), for the funding and support.

The team does not work alone. We appreciate the excellent works done by the previous researchers, including Jenny Dao, Prince Kendema, Tsuechy Lor, Hannah Sorenson, Dorie Stryker, and Tracy Xiong, laying out a firm foundation for our project. We extend our gratitude to the St. Olaf Instructional Technology Staff at the Digital Scholarship Center (DiSCO), Ben Gottfried, Kirk Martinson, Ali Morano, and Ezra Plemons, alongside with Jason Paul, Head of Research & Instruction at St Olaf Libraries, for their expertise and assistance. We are thankful for Nina Vang for helping us with interviews and filming, as well as creating our team logo, and Evan Pak for providing us with some of the photographs. Lastly, we are indebted to our family, friends, and professors who support us along the way, and all the storytellers who kindly agreed to be interviewed and generously shared their experiences with us, without which our work will not be possible. This project is still a work in progress; all comments and suggestions are welcome.
