Asian Americans are the racial group with the highest post-secondary degree attainment in the United States, and Asians as a whole are the top racial group in degree attainment in Minnesota. However, behind these rosy statistics lies the reality of disparities among Asian ethnic groups. Our project aims to collect, analyze, and present the diverse stories of Asian Minnesotans. Their higher educational narratives intricately intersect with race, class, gender, politics, and many other issues. This project thus hopes to shed light on their complex and challenging experiences, with an ongoing website and an upcoming documentary film.
