Looking for ways to get involved?
SARN is always looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join the team! Stop by our general meetings, every other Monday (Starting September 11) at 4 PM in the Grieg room (between the cage and the library) or email the SARN co-chairs at sarn@stolaf.edu for more information about how to be involved!
Interested in becoming a SARN advocate?
SARN advocates provide support and advocacy to survivors and their family and friends. A SARN advocate must be a student and go through the 40 hour HOPE Center training. A SARN advocate must actively participate and come to meetings in order to maintain membership.
- An active advocate must regularly attend meetings and be committed to the organization.
- There are rare exceptions when a person has demonstrated adequate training from another Minnesota source is granted membership.
- Advocates are encouraged to attend study-abroad programs and may return to active participation upon their return to St. Olaf.
Interested in becoming a SARN general member?
General members of SARN may attend meetings and assist with event planning, volunteering and advertising for SARN activities. Any St. Olaf student may be a general member of SARN!
