Educational Studies Concentration

Educational Studies Concentration (Licensure Track)

The Educational Studies Concentration is separate from the teaching license—you can earn one without earning the other. The St. Olaf Education Department offers three concentration tracks: the licensure track (for those working towards a teaching license), the non-licensure track, and the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate. This page describes the licensure track of the Educational Studies Concentration. If you’re already working towards your mathematics teaching licensure, you can earn this concentration by taking just a couple of additional elective courses. See this page for description of the other two tracks.
