Background & Story

Growing up as a volleyball player for 13 years, I built leadership skills, teamwork, and resilience through the sport I loved. But my passion for sports expanded beyond the court. I first stepped into a management role in high school, helping my best friend as a football manager, where I learned operations, equipment handling, and sideline logistics.

My passion grew when I participated in a Chicago Cubs case study during high school, researching sports nutrition and designing pre-game recovery plans for athletes. Through internships and workshops in sports business, I realized my true calling was on the business side of athletics—managing partnerships, events, and operations within sports and entertainment.

Coming to St. Olaf, I knew I’d need to carve my own path. I built an Individual Major in Sports & Entertainment Management, combining business, social science, and arts coursework to position myself for a career bridging sports and entertainment. From managing the St. Olaf Football team to interning with the Dodgers, every step has shaped my vision for creating more inclusive, innovative spaces in sports.
