We have approx. 200 participants registered for Crossings and Connections: Norwegian Migration to North America thus far. We are excited for such a robust turnout, and are hoping that even more will join us as we gather for this enriching experience. The following is just to give you a snapshot for those who are interested.

Participants are affiliated with the following organizations:

89: NAHA members
36: NAHA-Norge members
35: St. Olaf Alumni
18: NORTANA members

Not surprisingly, many are affiliated with more than one!

Participants are coming from:

132: US
47: Norway
1: Canada
1: France

Where are people staying?
80 rooms on campus (in Rand Hall) are booked. The rest of the participants are staying elsewhere and providing their own transportation to/from campus each day. We have about 20 rooms still available.

How are people getting to Northfield?
73 shuttle rides reserved to/ from Northfield (we still have ample space if you would like a ride).

Pre-conference tours:
31 individuals have booked the Historic Church Tour
15 individuals have booked the Regional Sites Tour

A reminder that you can book these as stand-alones even if one doesn’t register for the conference itself.

Off campus dinners:
175 individuals will be joining us on Thursday for our farm night (many people bought a +1 or more for this)
82 will be joining for our Saturday banquet downtown Northfield

Now that the semester is winding down, we have more help from student workers to help us get you some updates. We will be sharing more frequent details in the next couple weeks.
