Housing Update

Rand Hall Exterior

Rand Hall on the St. Olaf campus

We’ve reached an exciting milestone: Just 200 days before our bicentennial conference begins! With that in mind, we wanted to share an update on conference lodging options.

We’ve arranged two lodging options for conference attendees: budget-friendly on-campus housing and a Northfield hotel.

On-Campus Housing
On-campus housing will be available as part of conference registration — available in February.

Our group will be staying in Rand Hall, nestled into the north side of campus, offering a view of the woods and fields surrounding the college. The dorm is named for Sydney Rand, who served St. Olaf College as president from 1963–80 and as U.S. ambassador to Norway 1980– 81. (Fun fact: Rand’s wife, Lois, served as NAHA’s first female president beginning in 2002.)

Rand Hall offers:

  • Single or double occupancy
  • Shared bathroom (with one other room)
  • Linens and towels
  • Air cooling
  • Wifi
  • Microwaves and mini-fridges
  • Handicap facilities (please indicate needs when you register)
  • Nearby parking

While registration costs are not yet finalized, we anticipate the cost of housing will be less than $70/night for single occupancy and less than $50/night for double occupancy.
