While sitting at an Italian restaurant, I noticed a funny feeling in my stomach. As this feeling began to increase in intensity, I I decided to leave the restaurant to go lie down. After napping for about an hour, I woke up and saw my margherita pizza for a second time, looking much less appetizing than before.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lance: After dinner, I played some cards and then moseyed off to my hotel room to call it a night. The sight I found when I got there was not a pretty one: Haakon hunched over on the bathroom floor. Little did I know that in a few hours, I would face a very similar fate. The remainder of the night was one of the least restful I have had in my life, and it was many hours before I was finally able to get any real sense of sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kathryn: I woke up Monday morning to Kari\u2019s message saying that all plans for the day were cancelled due to illness in the group. Thankful that I was feeling well, I decided to go with a group of students to the Sverresborg Folkemuseum, which had been the class\u2019 plan for the day anyway. We visited a 1700\u2019s remake of Trondheim, touring original buildings that had been preserved and transported, entering everything from a dentist\u2019s office to the nightman\u2019s house. Instead of attending the initially planned museum, I spent my day working on homework for the class, because I was scared to be too far from my hotel room if I was going to get sick.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Haakon: Lance and I spent Monday sitting in bed. In three rounds, we received food from our professors. Notably, the watermelon and Powerade were life-saving. At about 2:30pm, we were ready to start our day, and even went for a brief walk outside before returning to our beds. Half the students attended in the conference room with the other half on Zoom. In the afternoon, we took a tour on traditional Norwegian boats through the Nidelva River.
