A very focused and centering place for me is a set of railroad tracks. Fortunately, tracks have been present during the most important and creative periods of my life – undergraduate school in Michigan, graduate school in Colorado, and now my homes in Minnesota and Montana. These (abstract landscape) images were derived from the spatter thrown by steel wheels against the undersides of grain cars found on the rails between Minnesota and Montana. 2016 to present.
