There are hundreds of images that we collectively recall from September 11, 2001. The most vivid, to me, are those of the Boeing 767 airliners colliding with the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center. These prints began with intimate photographs of a 767 – a viewpoint rarely seen by the traveling public and impossible to comprehend in the distant, blurred, and unfathomable images from 9/11. These Polaroid photographs were printed and randomly combined with traditional intaglio methods to create dark reflections of that event. 2008.
