Stop by our general meetings,\u00a0<strong>every other Monday at 4:30 PM in BC 144<\/strong> (between the cage and the library)\u00a0or email the SARN co-chairs at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sarn@stolaf.edu\">sarn@stolaf.edu<\/a>\u00a0for more information about how to be involved!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interested in becoming a SARN advocate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SARN advocates provide support and advocacy to survivors and their family and friends. A SARN advocate must be a student and go through the 40 hour&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/hopecentermn.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HOPE Center<\/a>&nbsp;training. A SARN advocate must actively participate and come to meetings in order to maintain membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An active advocate must regularly attend meetings and be committed to the organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are rare exceptions when a person has demonstrated adequate training from another Minnesota source is granted membership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocates are encouraged to attend study-abroad programs and may return to active participation upon their return to St. Olaf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-horizontal is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-499968f5 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/sarn\/volunteer\/become-an-advocate\/\">Become aN advocate<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interested in becoming a SARN general member?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>General members of SARN may attend meetings and assist with event planning, volunteering and advertising for SARN activities. Any St. Olaf student may be a general member of SARN!
