The prelates of Mainz demands the once excommunicated nobleman we recently buried in our churchyard be exhumed.<a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote1sym\" name=\"sdfootnote1anc\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This man has died in a state of grace, reconciled with the church, and I will not obey, even if it means I am excommunicated myself<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote1sym\" name=\"sdfootnote1anc\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/a> For 6 months my nuns and I have been deprived of Mass, sacraments, and our liturgical chant, but I won\u2019t let this sway me.
