As I\u2019ve developed my own monastic ideals it seems imperative that I, along with 18 other nuns, go to Rupertsburg near Bingen to find my own abbey.<a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote1sym\" name=\"sdfootnote1anc\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I wish to leave the male convent at Disibodenberg and to break free from the juridical, financial, and spiritual bounds we have to the monks. I know I will face ridicule, I already have, but the time has come for me and my sisters to find independence in our own abbey- I have the means and connections I need for the land with my family name. I\u2019ve fallen ill, as I have many times in my life, but this is just yet another sign from God that I must go to Rupertsburg. The abbot of St. Disibod is displeased, but my illness will show to him too that the will of God is pulling me to do this.<a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote1sym\" name=\"sdfootnote1anc\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Date: 1152<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The monastic church I found in St. Rupert that I left Disibodenberg for has been formally consecrated. I plan to spend my time from now on caring for my monastery supervising the construction of new buildings with our wealth. We have received gifts and bequests so we can be financially secure and fully independent from Disibodenberg. I will continue to establish discipline in my sisters through teaching and preaching and we have built our relationships with one another through my <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lingua ignota, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a secret language used among my nuns and myself.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"sdfootnote1\">\n<p class=\"sdfootnote\"><a class=\"sdfootnotesym\" href=\"#sdfootnote1anc\" name=\"sdfootnote1sym\">1 B<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">arbara J.
