Dear Sir or Madam,
We are writing this letter as the directors of St. Olaf College Mock Trial’s fall competition tournament, Ole Open. For those unfamiliar, mock trial is a competitive exercise in which two teams–in this case representing various undergraduate institutions–prepare and present sides of a mock case. The competition is typically judged by lawyers, law students, or experienced former competitors, and we would be deeply honored if you would be interested in judging our tournament.
Ole Open 2022 will be held in person from Saturday, November 5th, through Sunday, November 6th, at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. The tournament will consist of four rounds, each approximately 2.5 hours long, one in the morning and another in the afternoon on each day. Lunch will be provided for judges each day.
