An experimental investigation of local adaptation in common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca)

John Styrsky
This is an oral presentation two University of Lynchburg undergraduates (Emily Dougherty and Matthew Geiger) gave at our annual university-wide Student Scholar Showcase in spring 2019. They used repeated-measures ANOVA to test for differences in plant traits and herbivore density among five different populations of milkweeds grown in a common garden in central Virginia. Their analyses are based on the first year of growth.
