Alex Long
Student Researcher
Alex Long is currently a sophomore studying Biology and Biomolecular Science. In the lab, he studies the association of proteins to lipid droplets and how the alteration of the lipid droplet phospholipid monolayer affects these associations. After graduating from St. Olaf, Alex hopes to continue his education at a PhD or MD-PhD program. Alex is involved with the St. Olaf Martial Arts Club, and he plays viola in the St. Olaf Orchestra and a string quartet.
