Melinde Madsen is graduating from St. Olaf College with majors in Studio Art and Art History and a concentration in Women and Gender Studies. Her work draws from the colors and forms found in nature and is focused mainly on craftsmanship and functionality in sculpture and traditional Scandinavian woodworking.
