Our mission is to stop the degradation of our planet\u2019s natural environment and build a future in which people can live in harmony with nature. From high-level policy and advocacy work and on-the-ground conservation activities, to public involvement in environmental action and nurturing a green generation, we work with people from every sector and at every level to seek practical solutions which will achieve our goals. We strategically focus on conserving critical places and species that are of particular importance to their habitat or to humanity, and we devise programmes that aim to reduce the negative impacts of human activities.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hong Kong is a unique place. This small territory is rich in biodiversity and at the same time, as an international finance and trading hub, we are also rich in monetary terms. There is so much to be done \u2013 and that can be done \u2013 in terms of preserving our local biodiversity, rethinking the way we consume, and educating and empowering people to play a part in conservation.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Together, we can create a sustainable future for humans and nature.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u5927\u81ea\u7136\u751f\u614b\u7684\u5065\u5eb7\u638c\u63e1\u8457\u4eba\u985e\u7684\u547d\u8108\u3002\u5730\u7403\u7684\u751f\u614b\u7cfb\u7d71\u548c\u68f2\u606f\u5730\u7d66\u4e88\u6211\u5011\u4e7e\u6de8\u7684\u6c34\u6e90\u3001\u9069\u5408\u842c\u7269\u547c\u5438\u7684\u7a7a\u6c23\u3001\u98df\u7269\u3001\u85e5\u7269\u3001\u80fd\u6e90\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u66f4\u591a\u5176\u4ed6\u679a\u4e0d\u52dd\u8209\u3002\u6c92\u6709\u9019\u4e9b\u73cd\u8cb4\u8cc7\u6e90\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u4fbf\u7121\u6cd5\u751f\u5b58\u3002\u82e5\u5927\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u5065\u5eb7\u53d7\u5230\u5a01\u8105\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u4ea6\u7136\u3002\u8981\u89e3\u6c7a\u5730\u7403\u6b63\u9762\u5c0d\u7684\u6311\u6230\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u6bcf\u500b\u4eba\u90fd\u8981\u76e1\u4e00\u5206\u529b\u91cf\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u672c\u6703\u81f4\u529b\u904f\u6b62\u81ea\u7136\u74b0\u5883\u9000\u5316\u548c\u5efa\u7acb\u4eba\u8207\u5927\u81ea\u7136\u5171\u878d\u7684\u672a\u4f86\uff0c\u6295\u5165\u672c\u5730\u3001\u5730\u5340\u53ca\u570b\u969b\u4e8b\u52d9\u3002\u7121\u8ad6\u662f\u63a8\u52d5\u653f\u7b56\u3001\u5be6\u969b\u4fdd\u80b2\u884c\u52d5\uff0c\u4ee5\u81f3\u9f13\u52f5\u516c\u773e\u53c3\u8207\u74b0\u4fdd\u4e8b\u52d9\u53ca\u57f9\u80b2\u74b0\u4fdd\u65b0\u751f\u4ee3\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7686\u8207\u5404\u754c\u4eba\u58eb\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u5f9e\u4e0d\u540c\u5c64\u9762\u5c0b\u6c42\u53ef\u884c\u65b9\u6848\uff0c\u9054\u81f4\u4fdd\u80b2\u6210\u6548\u3002\u6211\u5011\u63a1\u53d6\u4e00\u8cab\u7b56\u7565\uff0c\u91cd\u9ede\u5b88\u8b77\u5c0d\u68f2\u606f\u5730\u548c\u4eba\u985e\u5c24\u70ba\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u53ca\u7269\u7a2e\u3002\u6240\u6709\u9805\u76ee\u4e5f\u76e1\u91cf\u6e1b\u4f4e\u5c0d\u5927\u81ea\u7136\u9020\u6210\u7684\u8ca0\u9762\u5f71\u97ff\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u9999\u6e2f\u7368\u7279\u4e4b\u8655\u5728\u65bc\u5730\u65b9\u96d6\u5c0f\uff0c\u4f46\u537b\u542b\u6709\u8c50\u5bcc\u7684\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6a23\u6027\uff1b\u540c\u6642\u662f\u570b\u969b\u5546\u696d\u53ca\u4ea4\u6613\u6a1e\u7d10\uff0c\u7d93\u6fdf\u7e41\u69ae\u5bcc\u8db3\u3002\u5f88\u591a\u4fdd\u80b2\u5de5\u4f5c\u5c1a\u5f85\u5c55\u958b\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u6709\u80fd\u529b\u505a\u5230\u7684\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u4fdd\u8b77\u672c\u5730\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6a23\u6027\uff0c\u91cd\u65b0\u601d\u8003\u6211\u5011\u7684\u6d88\u8017\u6a21\u5f0f\uff0c\u6559\u80b2\u53ca\u52c9\u52f5\u5e02\u6c11\u4e00\u540c\u4fdd\u80b2\u3002<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_testimonial][et_pb_divider _builder_version=&#8221;3.15&#8243; color=&#8221;#4a4a59&#8243; \/][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.11.1&#8243; text_font=&#8221;Georgia||||||||&#8221; text_orientation=&#8221;center&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1>Mai Po Nature Reserve\u00a0\u7c73\u57d4\u81ea\u7136\u4fdd\u8b77\u5340<\/h1>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.11.1&#8243; text_orientation=&#8221;justified&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Located on the northwestern corner of Hong Kong, the Mai Po and Inner Deep Bay wetlands is recognized as &#8216;Wetland of International Importance&#8217; under the prestigious\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/assets.wwfhk.panda.org\/downloads\/ramsar_eng.pdf\">Ramsar Convention<\/a>\u00a0in 1995. The 1,500-hectare area acts as a key way station and wintering site along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway where 50 million migratory waterbirds travel through each year.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1983, WWF has been managing the 380-heactare Mai Po Nature Reserve \u2013 as large as within 9,500 basketball courts \u2013 within the Inner Deep Bay. Home to more than 60 coral and 120 fish species, WWF\u2019s The Jockey Club HSBC WWF Hong Kong Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre offers students and the community opportunities to appreciate our valuable marine resources.<\/p>\n<p>WWF\u2019s education activities and school exhibition panels provide interesting and interactive programs for students to enhance their understanding of issues related to marine environment and fisheries. All education programs at Hoi Ha Wan include a coral-observation trip aboard a glass-bottomed boat. When the Hong Kong Government decided to use Tai Po as the Headquarters for all New Territories administration, they leveled the island to erect offices as well as staff accommodations and built a causeway to connecting the mainland.\u00a0 After WWII, the house became the official residence of 15 consecutive Distinct Commissioners; in 1986, WWF-HK was awarded the custodianship of the Island House, and charged with the responsibility for maintaining its cultural and national heritage.
