This is the Deichman Library! It’s the main library in Oslo and has six floors with many resources and room for events.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This is a photo of the Future Library which is a literary project taking place in the library. Each of the glass containers will eventually contain literary works from a variety of selected authors that will remain secret for 100 years.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On the hundredth anniversary of the project, the vaults will be unsealed and the works with be made available to the public.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The library is full of artwork both permanent and temporary. This is a permanent piece at the entrance of the library.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This is another piece in the center of the building. Each paper has a letter and together they create a really colorful piece!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The statue is called Self Portrait and is made with cardboard. The piece depicts a person enjoying a book in the library.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were lots of books in English and other languages, but I went around to find some of my favorite books with their Norwegian covers and titles. This is the second book in the Beartown series by Fredrick Backman.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
