These tours can be shared to websites or even saved to electronic portfolios. As viewers walk around the rooms, they can see annotated notes and hotspots of information. In the images, you can embed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Videos, audio, and other recorded media<\/li>\n<li>Images - it may be recommended to embed images over directly uploading the file.<\/li>\n<li>Google Slideshows<\/li>\n<li>Text<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This VR Tour is accessible on the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/disco\">DiSCO website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h1>Need to access Street View 360?<\/h1>\n<p>Street View 360 will also be made available in the DiSCO! If the application is not on the computer, ask one of the workers at the DiSCO Information Desk to help with the install! The photo can be downloaded directly to a local computer in a format that is ready to upload to Thinglink for annotation.<\/p>\n<p>The tool is a very quick download that is compatible with Windows or Mac (not compatible with mobile). Videos, audio, images, and other content can be annotated into the VR images to guide reader attention to specific locations.<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_pb_button_module_wrapper et_pb_button_4_wrapper  et_pb_module \">\n\t\t\t\t<a class=\"et_pb_button et_d4_element et_pb_button_4 et_pb_bg_layout_light et_block_module\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\" target=\"_blank\">Google Maps<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_pb_button_module_wrapper et_pb_button_5_wrapper  et_pb_module \">\n\t\t\t\t<a class=\"et_pb_button et_d4_element et_pb_button_5 et_pb_bg_layout_light et_block_module\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thinglink.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thinglink VR<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_column_1_3 et_pb_column et_pb_column_5  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_block_column\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_8  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h1>Storing your Content<\/h1>\n<p>Since Thinglink does not allow for multiple collaborators - it is recommended to record all information on a Google Doc (or separate document) before annotating the information on the image. Note on the Google Doc what type of annotations or content that you would like to add to the photos. This is important for a couple reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If annotations or information is accidentally deleted on the VR photos, this can't be recovered.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple people can contribute to the information that will be added to the VR tour!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_9  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h1>Photo Naming Schemes<\/h1>\n<p>In order to make the upload process easier - at the beginning of the photo title, indicate which order it should be in by adding a number at the beginning. (1St Olaf Northfield, 2St Olaf Northfield, etc.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This will also make it easier to track annotation information! Organization annotations by photos names on a Google Sheet or Doc.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_column_1_3 et_pb_column et_pb_column_6  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et-last-child et_block_column\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_10  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h1>What to look at your project virtually?<\/h1>\n<p>If you download and log into the mobile Thinglink VR app, there is a setting for virtual goggles.
