Here are a couple of tips to easily find project information and organize research:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use a Google Sheet to manage all research - websites, academic articles, media (ex. YouTube video links), etc. Creating a data dictionary of content in one place can make it easier to find later on!<\/li>\n<li>Create a separate folder in your Google Drive specifically for this project - save all images, links, and documents to this folder.<\/li>\n<li>Having difficulty narrowing down the research question? Create a map, slideshow, guided map tour, or any other type of tool to analyze the research topic. Here are some ideas for determining where to geographically map music:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A notable performance location<\/li>\n<li>Birthplace of the songwriter<\/li>\n<li>Location of the Recording Label that owns to the album<\/li>\n<li>Location of the band's studio<\/li>\n<li>Where the music video was recorded<\/li>\n<li>Is the song connected to a specific event?
