What is the Digital Project Library?
The Digital Project Library (DPL) is designed to serve as both an entry-level guide for faculty to integrate technology into their teaching and research, and as a resource for those already engaged in digital projects.
Digital Resources
- A list of DiSCO/IT and Library resources
- Links to articles and academic journals used as reference for digital projects
- Resources for accessibility, copyright & usage, and use of student projects and works
- Important IT Helpdesk and Knowledge Base links
- Information on project type specific resources, equipment, software, and hardware
Digital Project Literature & Project Types
- Assignment descriptions, assessment tools, and student work samples
- Curated scholarship that connects this work to pedagogical best practices, as well as recommended reading to assign in courses
Project Catalog
- A catalog of innovative research and class projects completed by St. Olaf faculty and students
- Examples of digital projects from other institutions and organizations
- Any projects submitted to the DPL will appear in the Project Catalog
Course Materials
- A resource for course-specific content and materials to help students who are working digital projects and research
- Pages are created for long-term research projects or courses (by term)
