ARNE JACOBSEN: SUSTAINABLE INTERVENTION

The Rødovre Library was designed by Arne Jacobsen, and built in 1969. After taking close measurements of this building, I drew architectural renderings for the library.

I then imagined and designed sustainable modifications for the building. These are the green drawings, which include a passively paved courtyard to collect water in a basin and pump underground to geothermally heat the library, and a green roof community space.
