About Me

Welcome! My name is Nina Rickett-Green and I graduated from St. Olaf College with a B. A. as an Individual Major called Social Change: Activism and Agency with a concentration in Race and Ethnic Studies. My interests lie in social movements, personal and collective storytelling, and ways in which an individual can empower themselves to inspire change in their own community. My senior capstone project seeks to highlight the ways activists in Chicago found their passion for the work they do and how they take care of themselves in the midst of personal and institutional injustices. After graduation I hope to continue my discovery of community building, addressing individual and societal needs, and constructing a sustainable and equitable future with those whose voices are systematically silenced. I hope to pursue a graduate degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
