About Me

My name is Chris Chapp, and I am a Professor of Political Science at St. Olaf College, where I teach classes on American politics and research methodology.  I received my Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2008. My primary research interests involve voting behavior and electoral campaigns in the United States, political psychology and public opinion, inequality, religion and politics, and research methodology.  When I’m not doing political science, I am enjoying spending time with my family, watching college football, woodworking, and powerlifting.
