With over 100 registrations so far\u2013less than half of which are participants\u2013in the few weeks of early bird registration, we are on track for a strong and diverse turnout!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the core components of our planning has been to create an event that will appeal equally to both scholars <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the broader public. Whether you&#8217;re a seasoned researcher or simply curious about Norwegian migration, you\u2019ll find a dynamic lineup designed to inspire curiosity, spark conversation, and build meaningful connections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the vast majority of the conference there will be 3-4 simultaneous sessions to choose from including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/plenaries\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plenary sessions providing big-picture context<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/book-talks\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Author talks on recent and upcoming titles<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/workshops\/\">Skill-building workshops<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/roundtables\/\">Roundtable discussions exploring topics from multiple viewpoints<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/research-panels\/\">Thematic panels honing in on niche research areas<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will also showcase a <a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/film-screening-talk\/\">special film screening and talk,<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/keynotes\/\">keynote addresses<\/a> and more to be announced!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re a member of one of the host organizations (<a href=\"https:\/\/nortana.org\/\">NORTANA<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/norwegianamericanhistory.org\/\">NAHA<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/nahanorge.com\/\">NAHA-NORGE<\/a>), we recommend that you <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/registration-lodging\/\">register now<\/a> <\/strong>to secure your spot. If you\u2019re not a member or would like to see more details before registering, a full schedule will be available in late April\/ early May.
