Topics on earlier migrations to\/from the East Coast of North America and the Dano-Norwegian colonization in the Caribbean from before 1825 are also encouraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage submissions from scholars of all backgrounds and at all career stages, including historians working beyond the traditional academy, independent scholars, and doctoral students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference offers a wide variety of experiences that will appeal to scholars and researchers of Norwegian migration while also providing foundational sessions geared to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Themes of the conference include the <strong>reasons for, responses to, and impact of transnational Norwegian migration<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can propose a variety of contributions for CC2025, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research panels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community talks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Book talk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roundtables<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital Poster Sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/cc2025\/program\/\">See more details
