Delikado Screening & Discussion

Palawan is a tropical paradise and one of Asia’s most popular tourist destinations. But for a small network of environmental crusaders, it is a battlefield. Delikado follows Bobby, Tata, and Nieves—a charismatic lawyer, an ex-illegal logger, and a fearless politician—as they risk their lives to stop the corporations and corrupt government officials plundering the Philippines’ “last ecological frontier.” In a country where environmental defenders are often killed with impunity, these magnetic leaders stand as a final line of defense against a deepening human rights crisis. This gripping thriller captures a local struggle with global stakes.
