This website was originally created by St. Olaf College student Izzy Istephanous when she was a summer research student surveying local prairies for bumble bees.  This site is currently maintained by, me, Diane Angell. I am a faculty member at St. Olaf in Biology and Environmental Studies. While my expertise is in small prairie mammals, I frequently pause that work to complete bumble bee surveys on local prairies.
