Our Core Values

Woman-centered

we strive to focus on young women’s abilities, resilience and their potential rather than on their weakness while placing their voices, needs and lived experiences at the heart of every action and decision we make.

Integrity

We live in integrity and use the funds we receive for their initial purpose

Compassion

We walk with compassion and kindness, acknowledging our  privilege and leveraging our potential to advocate for young women.

Community

Through this website, we hope to make a space for women to come and support one another on their journey of healing using the different resources we provide

Empowering women to raise their voices against sexual violence is a powerful way to combat child marriage in Congo. Sexual violence is one of the root causes of child marriage, leading to stigma, deepening poverty, and forcing parents to marry off their daughters at a young age to protect them from rape. This website stands as an important step toward breaking that cycle and supporting girls in the long run in the fight against child marriage thus the connection between the combat against sexual violence and child marriage.
