Assistant Station Manager
Curran is a Junior History and American Studies. Although this is her first year working for KSTO as the assistant station manager Curran has been hosting her weekly music and poetry hour, Bunny in the Tub, since 2013. Curran also works as a Pause security guard and is the mellby treasurer. Curran is passionate about bunnies, rabbits, and tubs of the bath persuasion.
Lindsey Tucker is a junior English major with concentrations in Media Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies. In addition to working for KSTO, Lindsey works in the Cage and volunteers for SARN. Her passions include napping, Teen Wolf, mashed potatoes, gender equality and live music. Lindsey hosts Torpor Time on Wednesdays at 7pm.
Sophia is a sophomore double-majoring in Studio Art and Environmental Studies (Natural Science) and a member of the women’s tennis team. Her love of music began with the violin, and she is excited to be branching into new territory as KSTO’s Art Director. She designs posters to advertise the station’s events, as well as photographs concerts on campus.
Cynthia is the News Director of KSTO radio station. This year Cynthia hopes to change what the news is all about and get people plugged into the campus band scene. Other than that Cynthia enjoys hard pear cider and margarita pizza.
Pete enjoys juggling, rock climbing, and world music. Hip-hop and folk are the people’s music, and thus they are Pete’s favorite genres. If you see Pete around campus, ask him about quarter tones, analog synthesizers, or the merits of any and every MF Doom album.
Nick is the Programs Director at KSTO. He’s into all types of music, but he’s got a particular affection for Hip-Hop, lo-fi Rock music, and Electronic music. When he’s not on the radio, he’s doing art stuff or thinking about life.
Aleksander hails from Estonia and is eager to spread his European rock ‘n roll music values through the minds of KSTO’s staff and listeners. When he isn’t whispering prayers of guidance to Eddie Vedder, he enjoys spending time listening to music, playing guitar, recording music, watching indie movies, and doing a lot of art. A lot.
Alt/Top 200 Genre Director
Sam is a junior Political Science and Religion major. Sam is one of the Alt/Top 200 genre directors for KSTO. Currently Sam is listening to CHON, Escort, The Decembrists, Shakey Graves, and Madeon. When Sam isn’t on the air, he is probably playing ultimate frisbee with the St. Olaf Berserkers or dominating at Super Smash Bros.A
Jack is an English major and Media Studies concentrator. He loves Fergie and wishes she would go on a solo tour. He was raised by wolves and the only reason he’s rock director is because he said he knows Wolfmother.
Jazz/Blues/World Music Director
Christian is the Jazz/Blues/World Music director at KSTO. Outside of KSTO he is a freelance musician, playing live and recording with artists from across the country. He is a member of the DNNR PRTY team and is host of DNNR PRTY Radio.
Andrew is the DJ Liaison at KSTO. Outside of KSTO he is a fanatic of trains, choral music, and casino
Drew is the Webmaster at KSTO. He enjoys listening to ska and ska-punk. He is passionate about music, technology, fishing, and mountain climbing.
