Christopher B. Chapp

Morrison Family Director for the Institute of Freedom and Community; Professor of Political Science at St. Olaf College

A Brief Introduction

My name is Chris Chapp. I am a Professor of Political Science at St. Olaf College, where I teach classes on American politics and research methodology. I am also the Morrison Family Directory of the Institute for Freedom and Community at St. Olaf College. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2008. My primary research interests involve voting behavior and electoral campaigns in inequality, religion and politics, and research methodology. When I’m not doing political science work, I am enjoying spending time with my family, watching college football, woodworking, and powerlifting.
